Staying at the Fileria Suites in Oia, Santorini, you are only steps from the iconic cliffside view and sunset. All complete with an amazing gluten-free breakfast on our porch each morning!
As most of you know with food allergies typically the included breakfast is off limits. To be honest it is rarely a perk for me. This all changed at Fileria Suites, when I was not only asked about my food allergies but got gluten free bread and pastries.
Just a walk across the street and you’ll be on the pedestrian-only path that lines Oia with shops and restaurants. Whether you want to shop for souvenirs, stop in at the market for snacks, or grab dinner at the iconic view, all this is just steps away.
Each evening the reception would catch us for our order for the following morning. Want to try something different not a problem. Looking for a bigger breakfast before an excursion not a problem!
Beyond the breakfast, the rooms were so comfortable. They even had Netflix for those relaxing evening post sunset which is such a nice perk!
Something to note about Santorini is that the cliffside hotels are not incredibly accessible. Fileria Suites being off of the cliff had a road right in front where excursions picked us up and dropped us off. If you have any kind of accessibility issues I would recommend staying at Fileria Suites.
Overall Santorini, Greece to me was even better in person than in the photos which is very hard to beat. You’ll find that food is made fresh and thus so much more room to ask for modifications for food allergies.
